The Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) Davao received commendations from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) during the inspection of its Pharmacy Program on November 20, 2024. The Professional Regulatory Board (PRB) for Pharmacy, represented by Hon. Dr. Mildred B. Oliveros and Hon. Dr. Adelina C. Royo, praised the program’s innovative practices and its potential to shape future healthcare leaders in the region.

The PRC’s positive feedback highlights LPU Davao’s commitment to equipping students with a solid foundation in pharmaceutical sciences and beyond. Through strong administrative support and a curriculum designed for inter-professional collaboration, students are prepared to excel not only in licensure exams but also in real-world practice. Recommendations to enhance facilities promise to further enrich student experiences, ensuring they gain practical and hands-on learning opportunities.
During the visit, LPU Davao highlighted its forward-thinking initiatives, notably a proposed TESDA certification program for third- and fourth-year pharmacy students. This initiative underscores the university’s dedication to its ARISE values and aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of Quality Education by fostering innovative and inclusive learning opportunities for students.
